Senior Industrial Hygienist

HWS is a highly successful, multi-disciplined environmental consulting firm searching for an individual to manage industrial hygiene/IAQ projects.  We require experience with exposure monitoring, bioaerosols and indoor air quality investigations. • Bachelors degree in industrial hygiene or related field;
  Masters Degree would be a plus
• Five or more years of directly applicable consulting/IH experience
• A self starter… enjoys working independently with minimal day to day supervision
• Enjoys challenges… willing to devote sufficient time and effort to help us continue to grow our IH/IAQ business
• Dependable, hard worker with excellent communication (speaking and writing) skills
• The ability to work effectively, both independently and as a part of a team
• Some travel required, however, this is not expected to be significant

The following additional experience would be a plus:

• ABIH certification in industrial hygiene
• Denver metro area experience, including familiarity with clients in the Denver metro area that routinely hire consultants to handle environmental/IH projects
• Preparing proposals, budgets, presentations
• Project management, client contacts and marketing to potential clients
• Preparing scope of work and design/specification packages
